Traditional Native American Incense

As close to nature as the Native American culture of North America has remained to this day, so too has the incense it has used since time immemorial. As the plants are almost always used as they are collected, they retain their natural power and can help to strengthen people's connection to the realms of animals, plants and minerals.
A variety of different plants can be found in the deserts of the western USA and the Rocky Mountains in particular, just as in ancient times. The smoke produced by lighting these sacred herbs was used early on by the indigenous peoples of North and South America to purify the air.
