Traditional Native American Incense

As close to nature as the Native American culture of North America has remained to this day, so too has the incense they have used since ancient times. As the plants are almost always used just the way they are picked, they preserve their evolved powers and can help to reinforce people's connection to the kingdoms of animals, plants and minerals.
Especially in the deserts of the western USA and the Rocky Mountains, there is a diversity of plants to be found, just as in ancient times. Early on, the indigenous people of North and South America used the incense smoke produced by igniting the sacred herbs to purify the air.
