Justitia
Justitia is the goddess of justice. It symbolizes true justice - succumbing without manipulation (the snake on which it stands) and without optical deception (the blindfold - it could also decide blindly) - it weighs carefully (the scales) and implements its just decision with a long sword. Justitia must have been a light warrior - she can neither be deceived nor manipulated. She also sees without eyes what is going on and fights for true justice.
Fortuna
Fortuna is the goddess of happiness and protection in one. Where Fortuna pours out its richly filled horn of plenty there is abundance in the spiritual as well as in the material. In the old Roman Empire she was also known as the goddess of protection. Whoever invites Fortuna into her life is under her protection and will no longer have to suffer any shortage of any kind.
