Incense burning in the Wheel of the Year (German Edition only)

Eight major festivals are known to us from the Celts. 4 sun and 4 moon festivals.
The sun festivals were the equinox and the shortest day and the longest day respectively. The lunar festivals were always in the middle of the solar festivals. Their celebrations were intense and full of joie de vivre, but also characterised by deep respect for the changing conditions of nature.
Being able to tune back into these natural processes nourishes our soul and strengthens our connection to nature and the cosmos.
Honouring what supports and surrounds us every day with respect. There is a great danger in this day and age of electric light and central heating, with the hectic pace of our everyday lives, that we no longer feel the rhythm of nature, the power of the sun and moon and the magic of a change of sun or moon. Everything runs smoothly, without ups and downs, without the wonderful magic that surrounds us.
