Nature spirits

The time between the years was considered a special time in ancient folklore. The days from Christmas to Epiphany were considered to be "out of time". At a time when the veils from this world to the other world open, our ancestors seek contact with us, spirits buzz around and Wotan with his entourage does his mischief.
