Sal

Sal (lat. shorea robusta) is the most important resin of the Himalayan Shamans. The smoke of this resin is very aromatic and strong. Its enrapturing effect is enveloping and powerful. With the help of Sal, many shamans fall into deep trance. Sal is a shamanic means of traveling.

The fascinating resin of Sal grows extensively in the shape of stalactites, up to 60 meters high. The Sal tree can only be found in the tropics. Mainly, it grows in Terail, the Nepal part of the jungle.
