The Ba Gua is considered one of the highest spiritual symbols. One could call the trigrams tools of life. The harmonic arrangement around the mirror corresponds to the origin, the Nirvana, the Absolute.
Just like the beginning - so our goal. In traditional China the Ba-Gua mirror is often used to protect homes from negative energies. Convex and concave Ba Gua mirrors are so powerful that they are only used outdoors if possible.5

Concave mirrors:
Like small satellite dishes, they collect and attract energies from their area of action and send them back more strongly.5

In Feng Shui, mirrors are used for protection and to ward off evil. It recognizes itself in them and takes flight, so that negative influences are dispelled. They also have an activating and expanding effect and can direct and balance the flow of energy. In the fairy tale the mirror stands for truth and knowledge.
