Atom

An atom is the smallest unit of all matter. It consists of positively charged protons and negatively charged electrons, which are constantly kept in balance.
This symbolises the dualistic forces in the universe such as light and darkness, Yin and Yang, male and female and the need to maintain a constant balance between these forces. Power lies in balance and from this inner centre we can float into higher spheres.
