Yggdrasil - The Tree of Life

Yggdrasil, the Tree of Life, is holy in Nordic mythology as it is a medium between the different spheres of existence. The roots symbolize the underworld, the tree trunk stands for our life on earth and the branches for the heavenly spheres.
