Wicks for Gheelamps
The wick for ghee lamps is an essential component for making the light of the ghee lamp shine. It enables the lamp to be lit and helps to bring out the symbolic significance of the ghee lamp. The wick is specially designed to burn the ghee evenly, thereby producing a calm, steady light.
The ghee lamp symbolises purity, hope and the divine light that dispels darkness and ignorance. Whether on a festive occasion such as Diwali, during daily prayer or at a special ceremony – lighting the ghee lamp is a quiet yet powerful ritual. As simple as it may seem, the ghee lamp carries deep symbolism and quietly bridges the earthly with the divine. A small light – and yet so much more.
