Tibetan Prayer Wheels Prayer wheels are an important part in Tibetan Buddhism. While turning the prayer wheel, one should feel the wish, that the mantras, which are in and on the roller, have an effect on the well-being of all beings, dispose their pain and bring them luck. Secondary, one could visualize, that the mantras radiate light during rotation and that they dissolve negative karma. An even higher thought is, that one concentrates during turning on the unity of the prayer wheel, the person turning it and the act of turning itself, with creation. The prayer wheels are made of brass and copper.
