Wiki / Lemon Balm

Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) is a refreshing medicinal herb with a delicate, fresh-citrusy, and mildly herbaceous fragrance. As an incense, the dried leaves release a bright, invigorating yet calming smoke.

The name "Melissa" comes from the Greek word for "bee" – lemon balm has been known since antiquity as a bee plant and medicinal herb. Paracelsus called it the "elixir of life". As an incense, lemon balm is said to banish melancholy and sadness, bring lightness and joy, and create a bright, friendly atmosphere. It is considered a plant of the sun and the heart.

Use: Place dried herb on incense charcoal. A fresh lemon fragrance – invigorating and mood-lifting.
