Ceylon Cinnamon (True Cinnamon, Cinnamomum verum) originates from Sri Lanka and is considered the finest and highest-quality cinnamon in the world. Compared to cassia, its fragrance is sweeter, softer, and more complex with an almost floral note. As an incense, a truly magnificent olfactory experience.
True cinnamon was so valuable in antiquity that it was offered to the gods. In the Old Testament, cinnamon is part of the holy anointing oil. As an incense, Ceylon cinnamon is used for love rituals, to attract prosperity, for spiritual protection, and to raise psychic energy. It is considered milder and more harmonious than cassia.
Use: Place cinnamon sticks or pieces on incense charcoal. A wonderfully warm fragrance.
