Juniper Tips (young shoots and needle tips of the juniper, Juniperus communis) are the freshest form of juniper incense. The fine needle-tipped twigs contain particularly high levels of essential oils and release a very fresh, spicy, and clarifying fragrance when burned.
In many European countries, juniper branches and tips were used for purification fumigations in spring and on special occasions such as births, deaths, and seasonal festivals. Juniper tips are considered especially effective for cleansing homes and warding off disease energies.
Use: Place fresh or dried twig tips on incense charcoal. A very fresh, spicy fragrance – ideal for spring cleansings.
