Olibanum Somalia is one of the best-known and most widely traded frankincense varieties in the world. Obtained from the tree Boswellia carterii in the dry regions of Somalia, it is characterised by a powerful, fresh, citrusy-resinous fragrance with camphor notes.
Somali frankincense is the "classic" frankincense of the Arabian incense trade and has been exported since antiquity. It is the base of many traditional church frankincense blends and is used in Islam, Christianity and other world religions for prayers and ceremonies. Ideal for deep spiritual practice.
Use: Place resin granules on incense charcoal. Classic, powerful frankincense fragrance – a timeless incense classic.
