Wiki / Olibanum Eritrea

Olibanum Eritrea is a frankincense from the East African country of Eritrea, obtained primarily from Boswellia papyrifera. The resin is known for its fresh, slightly citrusy and green fragrance with a gentle resinous depth – different from the heavier Arabian frankincense.

Eritrean frankincense is used by local communities for daily incense and religious rituals. It is milder than many other frankincense varieties and therefore ideal even for beginners. As a spiritual agent it is said to promote purification, protection and the elevation of the spirit.

Use: Place granules on incense charcoal. Fresh, green and pleasant – ideal for daily incense rituals.
