Olibanum Dalzielli is a frankincense from West Africa, obtained from the tree Boswellia dalzielii, native to the savannahs of Nigeria, Ghana and neighbouring countries. The resin is distinguished by a mild, sweet and slightly woody fragrance that is pleasant and accessible.
This West African frankincense is used by local communities for spiritual ceremonies, protection rituals and to communicate with ancestors. It is less well-known than its East African and Arabian relatives, but offers a unique olfactory experience. As an incense it is said to offer protection and strengthen spiritual connection.
Use: Place resin granules on incense charcoal. Mild, pleasant frankincense fragrance.
