Marjoram (Origanum majorana) is an aromatic herb from the Mediterranean region with a warm, spicy and slightly sweet fragrance. As an incense, the dried herb creates a pleasantly heartwarming and cosy atmosphere.
Among the ancient Greeks and Romans, marjoram was a symbol of happiness and was dedicated to bridal couples. Aphrodite/Venus is said to have created it as her sacred herb. In incense practice, marjoram is used for love incense, to alleviate loneliness and grief, and to promote happiness and wellbeing.
Use: Place dried herb on incense charcoal. Mild, pleasant kitchen herb fragrance – well suited for kitchen and living areas.
