Wiki / Maidal Nuts

Maidal Nuts (also incense nuts) are a traditional incense from the Indian and Arabian world. The nuts contain resinous and oily compounds that release a warm, nutty-resinous and slightly smoky fragrance during slow burning.

Maidal nuts are used in traditional Indian incense practices and in Arabian countries for domestic incense and purification. They are said to promote wellbeing, have a protective effect and create a pleasant, inviting atmosphere. Often part of incense blends for special occasions.

Use: Place the nut on incense charcoal. Burns slowly and evenly – long-lasting fragrance.
