Wiki / Jasmine

Jasmine (Jasminum officinale and related species) is one of the most enchanting incense plants in the world. The white flowers release an intense, sweetly floral and exotically sensual fragrance when burned – one that should be present in every romantic atmosphere.

Jasmine is sacred in many cultures: in India it is venerated as the flower of the moon and of love, and is used at weddings. In Arabian and Persian incense traditions, jasmine is an indispensable incense for special occasions. As an incense it is said to open the heart, awaken sensual energy, deepen meditation and strengthen connections with the lunar realm.

Use: Place dried flowers on incense charcoal. Very intense fragrance – a little goes a long way for a bewitching effect.
