Wiki / Spruce Resin

Spruce Resin from the Common Spruce (Picea abies) is one of the most original and down-to-earth incense materials of Central Europe. The golden-yellow to brown, sticky resin smells of fresh coniferous forest – spicy, resinous, slightly citrusy and deeply grounding.

Spruce resin has been collected and used in Central Europe since the Stone Age – both as a healing agent (for wound care and respiratory ailments) and as an incense. As an incense it is said to cleanse spaces, keep spirits away and bring relief for respiratory ailments. A true forest messenger from nature.

Use: Place small drops or pieces of resin on incense charcoal. Wonderful forest scent – ideal for the cold season.
