Brown Hojari is one of the quality grades of the highly prized Hojari frankincense from the Dhofar region of Oman, obtained from the tree Boswellia sacra. The brown to golden-brown resin granules have a powerful, warm-resinous fragrance with a slightly earthy note – more intense and deeper than white or green Hojari.
Hojari is the frankincense of the Omani sultans and is considered the world standard for frankincense quality.
