Mugwort Root comes from the Common Mugwort (botanically Artemisia vulgaris), one of the best-known incense plants of Europe. The root contains particularly high concentrations of essential oils and bitter compounds that release an intense, herbaceous-spicy fragrance when burned.

Mugwort is the plant of Diana/Artemis and has been associated with dream work, protection and femininity since antiquity. The root is considered particularly powerful and is used in shamanic traditions and European folk magic. It is said to promote vivid dreams and strengthen intuition.

Use: Place small pieces of root on glowing charcoal. Use only in well-ventilated spaces.
